Coaching is a process that helps individuals to unlock their potential at work by finding their own answers to issues, with the aim of improving their own work performance. My role as a coach is to help individuals to find those answers and to unlock that potential.
I have coached and mentored informally and more formally for a number of years. I have chosen to formalise my learning and am nearing the end of the ILM Level 7 qualification in Executive Coaching.
My style is relaxed, warm and realistic but I also provide the necessary challenge to help motivate individuals to move forward. The rapport between a coach and coachee is a fundamental part of a successful coaching relationship and I work towards building that rapport and gaining trust from the very first conversation.
I adhere to the Global Code of Ethics for Coaches, Mentors and Supervisors. This includes undertaking regular CPD activities and supervision.
